Formmay is a London-born studio making modern luxury coffee tables — and only coffee tables — from materials that improve with age.
Formmay began with a simple observation: the coffee table is the piece of furniture you live around most, and the one least often considered. We set out to change that — one form, one material, one obsessive standard of making at a time.
Every Formmay table is made to order in partnership with a trusted, certified supplier workshop — B Corp certified and SMETA audited, with Vriksh-certified timber and validated science-based climate targets. Timber is chosen board by board for grain, not yield. Nothing is dispatched until it has earned its place in a home.
We design few pieces, and we finish them properly. That is the whole philosophy: the luxury of space, the quiet authority of honest material, and furniture built to be lived with for decades, not seasons.

Material Honesty
Solid timber — mango wood, oak, acacia and chestnut — chosen for how they age, finished so it can be touched, repaired and lived with.
Made to Order
Most pieces are made to order for a particular home; a curated selection is always in stock and ready to ship.
Quiet Design
We remove rather than add. A Formmay table holds a room together without asking for attention.
